One thing I learnt this month is that sometimes enough is enough. Sometimes that comfort zone we create for ourselves is just so damn uncomfortable that we have to do something about it. Stepping out of that for whatever reason can be scary but if you want to change something, pushing yourself and doing things differently is the only way. I'm trying to loosen the grip a certain issue has on me right now and although it's not something I enjoy right now, it's something I want to be able to enjoy in the long run so it's 100% worth it to me to sort it out now, and if that means taking baby steps, I'm going to do that.
SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVEN'T LEARNT YOUR LESSON
Just when you thought you'd learnt something till you were blue in the face, you get thrown another situation that's trying to teach you the same thing. At this stage, I know that every situation, person, experience teaches me something and I really don't mind having to re-learn a lesson over and over - I believe that if that's happening, it needs to be happening and maybe I just need a reminder. There have been times when I've been annoyed that I can't seem to 'get' something but actually, the harder lessons have been, the more I've learnt from them and actually, they're the ones I'm most grateful for.
Spend time DOING THINGS you love
I can't believe we're already at the end of February - this year is just flying by! With that in mind, make sure you're making the most of your time and doing the things that are most important to you. Spend time with the people you love. Do the things that bring you joy - spend time how you want to and don't feel pressured to spend it in ways you don't enjoy!
Happy People & Beat Up Bible - Little Big Town (I couldn't choose just one song from their new album, it's just too good!)
